THE MUSHROOM CABINET
Being far from the true meaning of the word “czars”, it must follow that President Obama’s Council of the Unaccountable be designated in a way that truly defines accurately, just what this group is….hence;
“THE MUSHROOM CABINET”
Like mushrooms, these czars popped up suddenly in clumps, and like mushrooms, “The Mushroom Cabinet” does not like the light of day, they flourish in dark places where, what is developing is impossible to see to the uninvited outsider. Light must be shone on the mushrooms to determine the true quality of the bunch or if they have been contaminated by a dangerous spore, and shining that light is no easy task
With the light it has indeed been discover that, “The Mushroom of Green Jobs” turns out to be a danger. This one is loaded with toxins, poisons that destroy whatever they touch…including its’ host. But what other dangers lurk in the Mushroom Cabinet?
The legality of this ” Mushroom Cabinet” must be challenged in the courts. It appears that the legitimate Presidential Cabinet Secretaries have been usurped of their duties. The true Cabinet, those who have appeared for confirmation before the people’s elected representatives, have been reassigned to meaningless chores; de-fanged and de-clawed they are now powerless errand runners and photo props.
Why do we need an “Energy Mushroom”?….a “Diversity Mushroom”?….a “Climate Mushroom”? …a “Mideast Mushroom”? …a “Mideast Peace Mushroom”? …a “Pay Mushroom”? What does the “Science Mushroom” do? The list of these individual Mushrooms is so long that upon reading it, laughter is the immediate response. But if laughter was ever an inappropriate reaction, it is to this. Are we witnessing the establishment of the American Politbureau. Make no mistake, this group is a threat to our elective representation, and the ease with which it was established is frightening. Even Venezuela’s Chavez marveled at the speed of Obama’s power consolidation.
I noted on Obama’s inauguration that even if I did disagree with his liberal views, the man deserved an opportunity to convey his vision for America….and he has had that opportunity and the vision turns out to be so foreign, so alien from what the great majority of the population considers acceptable that his administration has become the object of an irate populace fearful that they are losing their country.
The posturing has already begun from some quarters. The squeaking, that opposition to the Obama administration is rooted in…..what else?….RACISM! …has begun. The knee-jerk charge is held at the ready by the usual rock throwers as an excuse for failure or as a limp attempt at silencing opposition to the arcane propositions of these out-of-touch nouveau revolutionaries.
Obama is leading us down a dark road while he smiles and tells us..”No…it’s OK…really, everything will be alright….c’mon.” The people are smarter than any politician thinks they are, but politicians have an arrogance that, they know better, and Obama is no different. What he doesn’t want to acknowledge is that the country rejects his ideas. The equation doesn’t work out; the people chose him therefore they must want what he wants. But what eludes him, and his “Chief of Mushrooms” Rahm Emanuel is that their campaign strategy of not talking specifics worked, they got elected and now that they have won, they are trying the same thing by pushing through the funding of a massive, incomplete healthcare bill that no one could understand, and few have read by simply demanding Congress to..” just sign the check!”
It will be a tough four years for the country with such obstinate radicals at the helm. How could someone be so married to such a polarizing philosophy and not realize the greatness of the opportunity handed him? To be the first black President is a historic and singular event in American history, but firsts in any endeavor establish a standard and Barak Obama
doesn’t seem to understand his great responsibility to future generations of black Americans who rightly or wrongly will be judged by his success or failure, but pragmatism does not occupy this White House… at least not yet.
“Chief of Mushrooms” Rahm Emanuel, and “Advisor Mushroom” David Axelrod, believed to be the two who determine the course of this administration, have steered it toward the rocks of failure in a blind quest to establish their …”progressive socialism agenda” as an accepted doctrine in this country, and Obama apparently concurs.
The idea that a more “centered” philosophy might afford this administration a chance for real accomplishment and an impressive position in our history has been tossed aside in favor of a dead 1930’s religion, once embraced only by weak minded crackpots and intellectual imposters.
These ideas are anathema to the American people; we are not a land accepting of civilian cadres,little red books or olive drab garb.
Instead of improving on our greatness and strengths, instead of offering a hand up and raising the least of us, the President and his “Chief of Mushrooms”, together with an obscene Congress want to lower all of us down to a lesser socialistic commonality. History will recall that Acorns and Mushrooms were the bane of the first black President of the United States and…. everyone knew it but him.
Update: It has been reported that the “Mushroom of Green Jobs” has resigned.
